Georgia Events 12/16 through 12/23

Yule is almost here! I hope everyone is having a wonderful time. As we approach the longest, darkest night of the year it’s important to me to celebrate the joys of life, the lights in the night and just to have a little frivolity in the darkness. North Georgia Solitaires Yule Party 2011

Saturday, December 10 · 1:00pm – 9:00pm at Red Top Mountain State Park Group Shelter #1

Join NGS to celebrate Yule at Red Top Mountain State Park Group Shelter #1 on December 10. There will be activities and games for the children. The Holly King will be there to interact with everyone and pose for family pictures. Attendees will enjoy a potluck dinner with a ‘white elephant’ gift exchange for the adults. The children will receive some special treats from the Holly King before the gift exchange. The party is a benefit for the Pagan Assistance Fund so there will be a silent auction and/or raffle. NGS is now accepting donations of items for the raffle and/or auction so if you have something that you would like to contribute, please contact NGS.

As this is a benefit for the Pagan Assistance Fund NGS is also accepting sponsorships of the party. You can purchase a sponsorship at the same link where you register to attend. More details are at http://yuleparty.ngsolitaries.com/
